Privacy

This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics scripts. It logs each request's IP address, network (ASN), user agent, referrer and path, for up to 12 months, to measure which AI systems retrieve its pages and to filter impersonation traffic. Campaign Salience Ltd is the data controller. Contact paul@campaignsalience.co.uk.

Effective date: 1 April 2026. Updated 12 October 2026 to describe the request logging on this site.

Campaign Salience Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") operates the websites campaignsalience.co.uk and wagesight.com. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use our websites or services, and the rights you have in relation to that data.

We collect limited contact and usage information in order to respond to enquiries, provide our services (including WageSight), and improve our website and outputs. We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers where necessary to operate our business. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

1. Who we are

Campaign Salience Ltd is a data, media and communications business. WageSight is a product and service provided as part of Campaign Salience Ltd.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Campaign Salience Ltd acts as the data controller. It is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17122564, whose registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF.

If you have any questions about this notice, contact us at paul@campaignsalience.co.uk.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you provide directly, information generated through your use of our websites, and, in some cases, data obtained from third-party sources.

This may include your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, job title, and any information you provide in correspondence or when using our services. Where you become a client, we may also process billing information and details necessary to deliver our services.

When you visit campaignsalience.co.uk, our hosting provider records each request: the IP address it came from, the network that address belongs to (its ASN), the browser or software identifier (user agent), the referring page if any, the page requested and the time. We record this to measure which AI systems and search engines retrieve our pages, and to identify and filter traffic that impersonates them. This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics scripts; the only third-party request a page makes is for its typeface from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in the ordinary way. wagesight.com records the same request data and may use cookies for site functionality.

In addition, we may process publicly available professional contact information or data provided by service providers such as analytics platforms, payment processors or customer relationship systems.

As part of our media and communications services, we also process limited professional contact information relating to third parties, including journalists and media contacts. This typically includes names, professional email addresses and publication details. Such information is sourced from publicly available materials, media databases or prior professional interactions.

3. How we use personal data

We use personal data to operate and deliver our services, including responding to enquiries, managing client relationships and producing and distributing outputs such as reports and press materials. This may include distributing press releases or related communications to relevant media contacts as part of our services.

We use request logs to understand how our pages are retrieved by people, search engines and AI systems, to filter impersonation traffic, and to keep our systems secure. Findings from these logs are published only in aggregate; we do not publish individual IP addresses.

We also use personal data to maintain and improve our website and outputs, to understand how our services are used, and to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Where permitted by law, we may use contact details to send information about our services, updates or insights. We may also process personal data where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

4. Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data where it is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business, communicating with relevant contacts, measuring how our published work is retrieved, and maintaining the security of our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Where we process professional contact information relating to journalists or other media contacts, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interests in distributing relevant communications within a professional context.

We may also process personal data to comply with legal obligations. Where required, we rely on consent, for example in relation to certain cookies or marketing communications.

5. Marketing communications

We may send communications about our services, including updates and insights, where permitted by law. You can opt out of receiving such communications at any time by contacting us directly.

6. Cookies

campaignsalience.co.uk does not set cookies. wagesight.com may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure functionality, analyse usage and improve performance; where required, we will seek consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

7. Sharing personal data

We may share personal data with trusted third-party providers where necessary to operate our business and deliver our services. These may include hosting providers, analytics services, payment processors, customer management systems and professional advisers.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or where necessary to protect our legal rights. We do not sell personal data.

8. International data transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK data protection law.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. This will vary depending on the nature of the data and the context in which it was provided.

In general, enquiry data is retained for a limited period after last contact, client data is retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter, and financial records are retained in accordance with legal requirements. Website request logs are retained for up to 12 months.

10. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to request transfer of your data, and to withdraw consent where applicable.

If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.
